Job Description As a Security Officer - Office Complex in Northville, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence, manage access points as needed, and respond to security-related concerns with strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter gates to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, checking identification and/or visitor logs, issuing credentials as directed, and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation of patrol findings, incidents, and daily activities using written logs and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover.
