Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
- Monitor access points by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing vendors, contractors, and deliveries according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical events, and/or fire-related notifications, and notify site contacts and/or public responders as required.
- Document patrols, observations, incidents, and actions taken in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
