As an unarmed Patrol Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support tenants and visitors with courteous directions and assistance, communicate clearly with your team, and document observations while acting with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset.
Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior common areas, parking areas, loading docks, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor building activity and alarms and/or surveillance systems as assigned, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
- Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate key information during shift transitions.
