As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support access control at key entry points. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and respond to concerns with professionalism. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access Control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and control entry and/or exit for employees, contractors, and deliveries, including verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing traffic flow as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with alarms, medical calls, fire-related notifications, and evacuation support as directed by post orders.
• Document and report security-related concerns, hazards, and incidents through written logs and reports, and communicate timely updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
