About The Position

As a Security Officer - Non-Weapon Patrol in Reynoldsburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge processes, greet employees and visitors with professionalism, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots and perimeter fencing to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards, maintenance issues and policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors and visitors, maintaining sign-in documentation and directing traffic to designated areas as required by site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management and coordinating with local emergency services when directed.
  • Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, deliveries and unusual activity, and use site systems such as cameras, alarms and radios to communicate and document security-related activity.
