Job Description As a Security Officer - Night Shift Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy automotive parking location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support guests with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and partner with site staff to keep operations running smoothly. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a parking garage and vehicle traffic environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including vehicle-related concerns, disputes, and/or medical situations, and communicate updates to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of parking levels, stairwells, elevators, entry and exit lanes, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor access points and observe vehicle and pedestrian flow, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance issues such as lighting outages, blocked lanes, and trip hazards.
• Complete shift documentation and incident reports, including patrol activity, observed conditions, and/or client requests, and assist with directing visitors to appropriate areas as needed.
