Security Officer - Night Shift Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Night Shift Patrol in Duluth, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control points, respond to alarms and/or unusual activity, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements
- Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel as required.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points and common areas, observe for irregular activity, and complete required logs and reports using clear, accurate documentation.
- Assist with visitor and vendor processing, including verifying identification as directed, issuing temporary credentials when applicable, and directing individuals to the appropriate area.
