Job Description As a Security Officer - Night Patrol in Tulsa, OK , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site personnel, document observations, and respond to concerns with a customer service mindset. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process areas, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Control access at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, checking credentials, directing traffic, and screening deliveries and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with site contacts, and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete routine reports and logs, document unusual activity, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management per post orders.
