As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, support access control and badging points as needed, and document and communicate security-related concerns with professionalism. You will stay highly visible to help reduce incidents while delivering customer-focused service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and/or visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures at an aero and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes, noting unusual conditions, unsecured doors, and/or policy violations that may help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and conduct security-related access control by verifying credentials, directing visitor check-in, and/or coordinating with site contacts for approvals.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities, evacuations, and/or coordination with local responders as directed.
  • Complete daily logs and incident reports, communicate observations to supervisors and/or site leadership, and support security-related investigations by documenting facts and preserving information.
