As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a prominent government location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, assist visitors, and provide outstanding customer service while responding to various situations. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activities, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with controlling access to the location, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit points as required.
Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies and/or evacuations as directed by established procedures.
Maintain detailed and accurate written reports and logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered while on duty.
Provide information and assistance to visitors and employees, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment within the location.
