As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned cultural institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the site, and offer outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and public spaces within the cultural institution to help to deter unauthorized access and assist with visitor flow.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Assist visitors and staff with directions and general inquiries, providing a welcoming presence while maintaining security-related awareness.
Participate in security-related drills and respond to alarms or emergencies as required by site procedures.
