Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including public and restricted areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment for visitors, staff, and collections.
Document and report any unusual activities, incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Assist visitors and staff with directions, information, and general inquiries, promoting a welcoming atmosphere within the location.
Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as required, and maintaining awareness of visitor flow.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support the overall security-related operations and emergency preparedness of the location.
