As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a world-class cultural arts location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support guests, staff, and performers with professional customer service. You will complete routine patrols, communicate clearly, and document observations while using tools like a computer and/or tablet. Requirements

• Have at least 2+ years of security experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Prefer to be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visiting performers by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including public areas, back-of-house spaces, entrances, exits, and the perimeter, as conditions vary by location.
• Monitor access points and support crowd flow during events by observing for unusual activity, assisting with directions, and helping to maintain orderly entry and exit.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance when needed and following post orders and escalation guidelines.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate relevant updates to onsite personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
