Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to all visitors and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to security-related concerns as needed.
Monitor access to the location by greeting and checking in guests, vendors, and employees in a professional manner consistent with the needs of a cultural institution.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to the appropriate contacts when necessary.
Communicate clearly and promptly with location staff and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and observations.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unwanted activity and to offer assistance to those entering or exiting the location.
Document and report all security-related incidents, suspicious activity, or emergencies according to established protocols.
Assist in emergency response activities as assigned, including providing directions and support to visitors and staff.
