Job Description As a Security Officer - Multi-Site Patrol in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet and assist students, staff, and visitors, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly while documenting observations. Requirements

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and other security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with campus partners and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking locations, and perimeter routes, noting and reporting unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and other assigned posts; verify credentials when required and assist with directions, information requests, and de-escalation of conflicts.
• Complete detailed security-related reports and activity logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate updates to supervision using approved systems and protocols.
