Job Description As a Security Officer - Morning Shift Patrol in Olive Branch, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site personnel, and respond to concerns with a customer-first approach. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production or storage areas, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, deliveries, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements and/or posted instructions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and assisting with site response plans as directed.
  • Prepare complete and accurate reports, including patrol logs, incident documentation, and observations of potential hazards or security-related concerns.
