As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout educational and retail locations. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with visitors and staff. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment for staff, students, and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus buildings and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas within the education and retail/mall locations to observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior.
Collaborate with campus personnel and/or retail staff to address security-related concerns and support daily operations.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, observations, and activities during each shift as required by Allied Universal policies.
Provide information and assistance to students, staff, and visitors, helping to foster a welcoming and secure environment at the location.
