As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will support students, staff, and visitors through professional communication, incident documentation, and timely response to concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, campus policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor directions and ID or credential checks as required, and report unusual activity to site leadership and/or public responders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, medical calls, alarms, and policy concerns; document actions taken per post orders.
• Complete routine reporting and communication, including incident reports, shift logs, and radio updates; help to deter policy violations through high-visibility presence and consistent customer service.
