Job Description As a Security Officer - Mobile Site Patrol in Chicago, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor screening, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and tenants. Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Having access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site contacts as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes, with working conditions varying by location.
• Control access to the property by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying authorized access, and helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations.
• Complete routine security-related reports, incident logs, and patrol activity documentation, and communicate observations to supervisors and/or site management as needed.
