About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Ruther Glen, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post instructions and reporting protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and deliveries, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions, damaged property, and/or policy violations.
Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with site contacts, and completing required reports related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or security-related concerns.
