About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in North Grafton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response actions appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points, with awareness that working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site personnel, verifying credentials when required, and assisting with visitor, vehicle, and/or delivery traffic in accordance with post instructions.
