About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support a professional, welcoming atmosphere. This is a driving post. You will perform routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity in a caring, people-first culture.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific access procedures, screening protocols, and other security-related policies at a healthcare location.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor and delivery logs, and help to control access to authorized and restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, communicate with site personnel and/or first responders, and document daily activities, observations, and access-related events.
