As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Driver in Bernville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor grounds and key areas through routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the warehouse, loading docks, yard, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Control access at gates, doors, and other designated entry points by checking identification, verifying appointments and/or delivery paperwork, and directing visitors, drivers, and contractors to approved areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, suspicious activity, disputes, and/or medical situations, and notify appropriate contacts as required.
  • Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, and monitor cameras and/or alarms when assigned, communicating observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
