About The Position

As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Driver in Maysville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will drive between assigned areas to conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents, and support operations with clear communication and customer-focused service. You will document observations and respond to issues as they arise while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and rooted in integrity and a people-first culture.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate contacts per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
• Control access to the location by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials as required, and directing visitors and contractors according to site procedures.
• Complete shift activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
