As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol buildings and grounds, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license, as you may conduct vehicle patrols and respond to calls for service. You will deliver clear communication, strong customer service, and teamwork with integrity in a caring, agile environment.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, yards, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or suspicious activity through the site chain of command.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or authorization, and directing visitors and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership, and support investigations by preserving observations and/or available information.
