Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a fast-paced food and beverage location. You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and document observations with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license and meeting AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage manufacturing and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points such as lobbies, gates, and receiving areas by checking identification, managing visitor and contractor check-in and/or badging, and directing traffic in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events, notifying appropriate contacts, and coordinating with site leadership and/or public responders as directed.
  • Complete routine reports and logs, use required systems for incident and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
