At an Allied Universal retail location, as an Officer in a driving patrol post, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrance and exit areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, high-traffic areas, and/or receiving areas for unauthorized entry, policy violations, and other security-related concerns within the retail location.
- Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee activity, documenting security-related incidents, and communicating information according to site procedures.
