As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and respond to incidents with calm, professional communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, supporting mobile patrols and timely assistance across the campus. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Hospital requirement: Vaccines.
  • Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED.
  • 21+ Years of Age.
  • Hospital requirement: Restrain Individuals.
  • 2+ Years' Service in Healthcare/Medical‐Related Field.
  • Security Experience ‐ 5+ Years.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor guidance and/or badging procedures as required, reporting suspicious behavior or policy concerns to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical emergencies, and/or fire or alarm conditions, and coordinate with on-site staff and first responders as directed.
  • Complete reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, using clear documentation and timely communication.
