You will conduct routine patrols and security-related checks across the campus, maintain a visible presence to help reduce incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Hospital: Vaccines are required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hospital: Restrain Individuals is required.
• Baton Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and requesting additional support as needed.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor wayfinding and policy compliance, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance issues through established channels.
• Complete routine documentation such as incident reports, shift activity logs, and pass-downs, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
