Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation support and notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, helping to manage access control, visitor interactions, and/or security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, staff, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
