As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a sense of well-being, and provide exceptional customer service and communication, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Report and document any security-related incidents or concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with location staff and Allied Universal management to address any security-related needs or concerns.
