As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a sense of well-being, and provide exceptional customer service and communication, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Provide proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
Report and document any security-related incidents or concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with location staff and Allied Universal management to address any security-related needs or concerns.
