As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, delivering outstanding customer service, and maintaining open communication with staff and visitors. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as required.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as directed by site management and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and assisting with visitor management as needed.
  • Assist in implementing site-specific emergency response plans and participate in drills as directed by site leadership.
