As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and service needs, and communicate clearly with your team. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and adherence to AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required per client requirements.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, suspicious activity, and/or requests for assistance.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns to report.
• Control access to designated areas by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials as required, and directing visitors to appropriate destinations in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, communicate observations to site contacts, and support investigations by preserving information and/or observations as needed.
