As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to staff, patients, and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring regular patrols throughout the property. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication, reflecting our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork while always acting with integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support visitor management procedures.
Assist with emergency response activities as required, including coordinating with medical staff and first responders when appropriate.
Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports as required by site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
Support access control measures and help to deter prohibited items from entering the location.
Provide visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and promote a welcoming environment.
