As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will be responsible for conducting routine driving patrols to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere. Your presence will help foster positive interactions with tenants and visitors while maintaining Allied Universal's commitment to integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required.

Requirements

  • At least six months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any irregularities.
  • Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols, providing accurate and timely information to supervisors and/or client representatives as required.
  • Maintain visibility throughout the assigned area to help to deter unauthorized individuals and suspicious activities.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as needed.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters and site-specific needs.
