You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure atmosphere, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating clearly with team members and site contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits and access points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Document observations, incidents and activities in reports according to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns unique to a technology, media, or telecommunications environment.
  • Remain alert to changes in the environment and respond promptly to alarms or unusual activity as directed by site protocols.
