Job Description As a Security Officer - Media Site Unarmed Patrol in Austin, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic tech and media environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the location, and act as a reliable resource for visitors and staff. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor for unusual activity or situations that may require additional attention, and report findings promptly.
Support access control processes by observing entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and team members to provide information and assistance as required.
Document incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site requirements.
Remain alert to changes in the environment and adapt to varying conditions within a tech-focused location.
