As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your presence and attentive customer service will contribute to a positive experience for everyone on site. You will also utilize technology to support your patrols, reflecting Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and integrity through teamwork and a people-first approach.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience working at sites with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible presence.
Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior within the location, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to alarms and/or emergencies according to established protocols, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities in daily reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and client representatives.
Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries, maintaining a helpful and professional demeanor at all times.
Support the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter violations and maintain order within the location.
