As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic tech and media location, helping to deter incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and exceptional customer service will support a positive atmosphere for all. You will use your experience to respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly with team members, and embody our values of agility, reliability, and integrity every day. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.69 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM Sun 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
Communicate and collaborate with on-site staff and visitors to support a secure environment within the tech, media, and telecom location.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance needs in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
