As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and remaining visible throughout the site. This primarily driving post offers the opportunity to interact with clients and staff, provide excellent customer service, and respond to incidents as they arise. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • This is primarily a driving post.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and monitor for any unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe for any suspicious behavior or activity within the location.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with company and site protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
  • Remain visible and approachable to assist employees and visitors with questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
