As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the site to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and employees, and embody our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork while supporting a welcoming environment.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns within the location.
• Monitor the premises for unusual activity and/or potential hazards, reporting findings according to established protocols.
• Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and helping to direct visitors as needed within the location.
• Document all incidents, patrols, and security-related activities in accordance with company and site requirements.
