Job Description As a Security Officer - Media Facility Patrol in Louisville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a strong presence at a dynamic tech and media location. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report any findings according to site protocols.
  • Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management as required.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with team members and site representatives regarding security-related matters.
  • Document observations, incidents and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
