About The Position

As a Security Officer - Media Facility Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a strong presence at a dynamic tech and media location. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Monitor for unusual activity and report any findings according to site protocols.
Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management as required.
Communicate clearly and promptly with team members and site representatives regarding security-related matters.
Document observations, incidents and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
