Job Description As a Security Officer - Media Center Patrol - Full Time in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with staff and visitors. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, employees, and visitors, providing assistance as needed.
Remain alert to surroundings in a tech, media, and telecom environment, adapting to changing conditions as required by the site.
