Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media environment. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be visible throughout the location, conduct routine patrols, and assist with access control and badge procedures, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior within the location.
Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
Maintain a visible presence to help promote a secure environment for employees and visitors in a technology-focused setting.
