About The Position

As a Security Officer - Media Campus Patrol in HONOLULU, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Report any unusual activities, security-related concerns, or incidents to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors while upholding site protocols.
Complete detailed and accurate security-related reports and logs as directed by site requirements.
Assist with access control and visitor management in accordance with site-specific guidelines.
Support emergency response efforts as directed, following established procedures.
