About The Position

As a Security Officer - Media Campus Patrol in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate with staff and visitors, and contribute to a welcoming environment. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers the opportunity to be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior in a technology-focused location.
Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry as part of security-related responsibilities.
Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance issues, and/or unusual activity according to site protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support the overall operation of the location.
