Job Description As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Access Control in Franklin, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible to support a secure environment while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and report any concerns.
Maintain accurate logs and reports of all access control activities and incidents as required by the site.
Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate to the location and post assignment.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
