As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial setting, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring you to meet AU driver policy requirements while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch station to support site operations.
  • Coordinate response to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all incidents, communications, and activities related to dispatch operations.
  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by addressing inquiries and relaying information as needed.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to relay important information and updates.
  • Assist with emergency response activities by dispatching appropriate personnel and resources according to established protocols.
  • Support regular and random patrols by monitoring activity reports and communicating with patrolling staff to help to deter unauthorized activity in and around the location.
