Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Response Driver in Killeen, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to all individuals on site. This position requires both Level III Armed Certification and a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for driving and armed duties while supporting a caring and people-first environment.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification Texas Only is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and sound judgment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of facility policies and procedures.
• Support emergency response activities, including providing assistance during medical emergencies or evacuations as required.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities while on duty.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and provide a supportive presence throughout the location.
